	19th century George IV was born in 1762. He acted as Prince Regent from 1811 to 1820. As king of Great Britain he died in 1830. The style follows closely on from the neo-classical Georgian Style. Regency Style: elegant furniture and vertically striped wallpaper. Brass was used for decoration, rosewood and zebrawood veneers were used for a striking look. Mahony was still the wood of choice for most furniture makers.
